Dr PL Greeff

Dr. Greeff is a nephrologist and specialist physician working at Netcare Pretoria East hospital since 2016. He completed his MBBCh in 2006 and MMed(IntMed) in 2012 at the University of Pretoria. Dr Greeff also completed his FCP(SA) and registered as a specialist physician in 2013. He joined the Department of Nephrology at Steve Biko Academic Hospital / University of Pretoria for further training in nephrology from 2013 to 2016 to complete his FCP(SA)(Cert. Nephrology) in 2016 and MRCP(UK)(Nephro) in 2017.

Dr. Greeff is working in the renal and dialysis unit at Netcare Pretoria East hospital, offering care and services to patients including:

  • Diagnostic nephrology services (urine / blood / imaging and histology)
  • Acute and chronic renal replacement therapy (hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis)
  • Kidney transplant (recipient and donor) evaluation

Consultations are conducted in office, admitting patients to the general wards when required. Furthermore renal support to various specialties is given in the high care units as well as intensive care units in the form of renal replacement (dialysis therapy).
